The 2026 Proposed Budget is posted below on this site for Public Inspection, and in the Council Chambers at 15 E. Ridge Street, Nanticoke. The Budget Hearing is scheduled for Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at 5:30 pm and the First Reading of the Budget Ordinance will be read at the December 3, 2025 Council Meeting at 6 pm.

The City of Nanticoke’s Annual Christmas Parade and Christmas Tree Lighting will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at 3:00 pm at the Patriot Park.
Santa Claus will arrive on a Fire Truck where he will greet the children, you will able to take photos and each child will receive a gift. There will be Free Cookies and Hot Chocolate served.
The Christmas Tree Lighting is at 4:30 pm.
Anyone or group who would like to participate in the parade, please email Jennifer Polito at jpolito@nanticokecity.com. Parade starts at 2:30 pm at the GNA High School and line up begins at 2 pm.

Service Line Warranties of America, SLWA, is offering water and sewer line protection to city residents. Residents may have received letters in the mail. Mailers were also sent two years ago offering this protection. This is a completely optional program by a private company, not by the city, for residents seeking an option for water and/or sewer line protection.
